We are pleased to announce that the Science and Religion: Exploring the Spectrum project has a new home here at Newman University, the newly formed Centre for Science, Knowledge and Belief in Society. To celebrate this new research centre, on Wednesday 18th November 2015 we will be hosting a launch event here at Newman University in Birmingham. Featuring an inaugural seminar and wine reception; academics, community groups, and all members of the public interested in the study of science and religion are welcome to join us for this event.
The research centre’s inaugural seminar “Science and Secularisation” will be given by Professor John Hedley-Brooke, the former Director of the Ian Ramsey Centre for Science and Religion at the University of Oxford. The seminar is part of the Science and Religion: Exploring the Spectrum project.
Join us for refreshments from 3:30pm, before Professor Hedley-Brooke’s seminar at 4pm, followed by a wine reception and buffet.
