My research on Science and Religion: Exploring the Spectrum involves interviewing life scientists and members of the general public about their beliefs, identities and perceptions of evolutionary science. Prior to working on this project I was based at the University of Bristol, where I carried out research into relations between British Muslims and the state and edited an on-line forum on religion and public policy, Public Spirit. My PhD thesis, awarded in December 2010, studied transition in the Islamic tradition in the UK. More about my research, including a list of my publications, can be found on my personal website.
