I am a sociologist of religion and belief in general. My doctoral research explored British Muslim perceptions of biological evolution. I am a Research Fellow on the ‘Investigating the Non-Religious Mainstream: A Challenge to Narratives of Science and Secularization?’ project. In addition to my PhD from Liverpool Hope University, I have an MA from Cardiff University and a BA from the University of Exeter, as well as a diploma in Arabic language from the University of Damascus, Syria.
