A member of the Science, Knowledge and Belief in Society Research Group in the department for Theology and Religion at the University of Birmingham, Dr Wiseman has an MPhil and a PhD in Divinity (psychology of religion) from the University of Cambridge, where he was research associate for two years. During that time he had his monograph on moral bioenhancement published by MIT Press; and his Science, Religion and Technology work been published in many of the leading journals and publishers in the field, the American Journal of Bioethics, Cambridge Healthcare Quarterly, the Royal Institute of Philosophy, and Zygon. He is currently a Research Associate at the University of Birmingham, and an honorary Senior Research Associate at the Institute of Education, UCL.
